About Dr. Lloyd Hoffman
Dr. Lloyd Hoffman, former Chief of the Combined Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Weill Cornell and Columbia Schools of Medicine, would like to announce the opening of his private surgical practice.
Dr. Hoffman completed his general and plastic surgery residencies at Cornell and continued his training as a fellow in hand surgery and microsurgery at New York University. Dr. Hoffman then returned to Cornell in 1987 to become the youngest division chief in the country. Under his guidance, the division expanded significantly, including the creation of the Cornell Hand Service, Children's Reconstructive Surgery Center and the Combined Division of Plastic Surgery. He has been recognized nationally and internationally for his surgical skills, published works, and ability to teach residents and students.
While his accolades are numerous, Dr. Hoffman remains completely focused on the treatment of his patients. He is known throughout the medical community for his kindness, patience, and compassion.
